Hi guys!! I’m in a particulary good mood today, so you might see lots of exclamation marks! “Why are you so happy Vishaun?” I hear you ask… Well, one reason is my playlist. But I have another blog for that! The 2nd reason is positives (good Points) – I got 41 (which is my record) this week! On top of that, I got 6 SoTLs (Star Of The Lessons) which is also my best. This is all due to 1 suspected thing – My new classes. In the UK, you are sorted into classes based on your ability in certain subjects from the 2nd half of y7. I used to be in 7y3, which had teachers who didn’t usually put positives on, but now I am in 7y1 (smartest set), with teachers who give lots of positives. There are 300 kids in my year, so we are split into 150 on each side, like 2 different year groups, except for external events etc. The sets are decided by how good you are in English or Maths, then other subjects are GIVEN a subject to copy sets of. Key work here GIVEN because your set in art would be determined by how good you are in maths. Anyways, these are all the Classes in my year. (if they are next to each other, they are equal in ability) I also Know only y band teachers.
